JAPAN: Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today announced a summary of automobile production, Japan domestic sales, and export results for the month of July 2010, including an all-time record for any month for production in Asia and China. Production Production in Japan for the month of July 2010 experienced a year-on-year increase for the seventh consecutive month (since January 2010). Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the ninth consecutive month (since November 2009), including record production in Asia and China for any month. Worldwide production experienced a year-on-year increase for the eighth consecutive month (since December 2009). Japan Domestic Market Sales Total Japan domestic market auto sales for the month of July 2010 experienced a year-on-year increase for the 13th consecutive month (since July 2009). New vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year increase for the 16th consecutive month (since April 2009). Sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year increase for the fourth consecutive month (since April 2010).
